Chef Alayah
Alayah is, and will continue to be, the heartbeat and creative force behind Bistro 8150.
Her journey into food didn’t begin in a classroom — it began in the real world. At 16, she started as a dishwasher at Georgetown’s 7 Gables Resort Restaurant and Bar. From there, she committed fully — traveling daily by snowmobile, or at times driving a 23,000-pound military 6x6, navigating a rugged 10-mile trail to get to work. That level of commitment defined her early path.
What followed was anything but ordinary.
During COVID, and under new ownership, the restaurant environment became an intense, fast-paced proving ground. Long hours, constant pressure, shifting menus, staffing shortages, and unpredictable conditions created a learning experience few ever encounter so early. It was a trial by fire — one that accelerated her growth in ways no traditional path could.
Recognizing the need to continue developing her craft, Alayah took the next step and joined The Montana Club. There, she was given the opportunity to work within one of the most extensive menus in the state — expanding her skills, discipline, and understanding of professional kitchen operations.
Today, Alayah is continuing her culinary education in a true working environment — learning from experienced chefs and refining her approach to food, technique, and presentation every day.
Wherever her journey leads — whether near or far — her commitment to Bistro 8150 remains constant.
At just 18, her professional path is only beginning. But the vision is already clear:
To bring everything she’s learned back to the mountain — and to one day lead the kitchen at Bistro 8150.

A student and writer, she contributes to the project through blogging and storytelling, documenting the journey as it unfolds. With a strong interest in science — inspired by her great-grandfather, renowned scientist Frank Bellrose — Trinity is already following a path shaped by observation, exploration, and understanding how things work.
Recently awarded a scholarship to Montana State University, she is preparing for the next step in her academic and personal journey.
Outside of academics, Trinity is deeply connected to the mountain environment — a backcountry skier who experiences the landscape not just as a place, but as something to study, understand, and respect.
At Elev8150, she also plays an important role alongside her father — bringing support, perspective, and the kind of steady presence that keeps the project moving forward.
